Local Information about Brook, Kent
This well presented cottage is situated in the village of Brook, and is a 30 minute walk to the local village pub, the Honest Miller. A 40 minute walk across the fields takes you to the Five Bells, another popular pub. Local shops, cafes, restaurants and food supplies can be obtained from the nearby villages of Wye and East Brabourne, both pretty villages and just 10-20 minutes drive away.
Further afield, are the historic landmarks of the Cathedral City of Canterbury and the iconic Dover Castle. The seaside town of Hythe with its sandy beaches makes for a great day out, and a trip to the Port Lympne nature reserve is fascinating for the whole family. These are just a few of the suggestions of things to do in this wonderful part of the Garden of England.
And of course, Ashford is only 15 minutes away, for fast trains to London and Eurostar links.
