With a moated castle, spacious grounds and even a maze there is plenty to keep everyone amused for a whole day out.
For those who like excitement Leeds Castle also has a Go Ape attraction which is a high wire climbing adventure through the treetops. Take to the trees and speed down the zip lines, enjoy the rope bridges, Tarzan swings and crossings all set high above the forest floor.
Why not have a go at a Segway Tour and take in the sights and sounds of the castle not usually seen by visitors on foot, the perfect way to spend an afternoon. Perhaps finish off your tour by having a cream tea in the Fairfax Hall the converted barn restaurant within the grounds.
Maybe a hot air balloon flight is more to your liking. Simply nothing can compare with the sensation and experience of a flight in the Leeds Castle Hot Air Balloon. Flying shortly after sunrise or before sunset, a flight over the stunning Kent countryside is an exhilarating yet tranquil experience that will be remembered long after the flight is over. A Leeds Castle Hot Air Balloon ride makes an unusual, exciting and surprising gift for those special occasions.
For golf enthusiasts don't forget to bring your golf clubs, with a par 33 2681 yard course within the grounds, what better way to spend an afternoon, you could even book a lesson with the castle PGA golf professional Steve Purves.
If falconry is your thing why not book some time with the castle falconer, Mark Brattle, You will never forget the moment when a hawk first swoops down and lands on your gloved fist. This experience will be offered for the first time during 2012, be one of the first to take part in this new exhilarating experience.
