The Old Post Office is the ideal holiday home for a City break or holiday in Canterbury. After a day of sightseeing, you can return to this lovely modern cottage which has everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. In the summer you can enjoy the pretty terraced garden, in the winter you can keep warm with the cosy burner.

The two bedrooms and two bathrooms make the cottage perfect for couples or small families. It is also a great cottage for short lets. Canterbury is a City for all Seasons - in the summer it is lovely to stroll through the pretty Westgate Gardens, enjoy an alfresco lunch, walk the mediaeval City Walls or go punting on the River Stour which runs through the Old City. In cold weather, head inside and explore the famous Canterbury Cathedral, many museums and art galleries, the Marlowe Theatre and the large shopping centre.

Local Information about Canterbury, Kent

The East Station is the nearest train station, and the Canterbury West station is only a short taxi ride away. To get to the bus station this is only a short walk from the property. There is a wide range of shops and restaurants including Italian and Chinese. Canterbury is certainly a city for 'All Seasons', there is events running all throughout the year for you to enjoy. The Canterbury Cathedral is wonderful attraction to visit and is also only a short walk away, along with the Marlowe Theatre is you fancy spending one evening in the city.
