Wonderully rural away from the world, along a quiet hilly country lane is where you will find this cottage, those with energy will enjoy an envigorating walk to a popular village pub and set in the rolling countryside of the North Downs, the cottage is ideally situated to explore the Cathedral City of Canterbury, only 9 miles, roughly 10 minutes away. There are lots of wonderful walks locally with riding stables nearby, a golf course within 15 minutes and great shopping opportunities, at either the Ashford Designer Outlet (15 miles) or the eclectic mix of shops and boutiques in Canterbury itself. If antiques are your thing, head down to the seaside towns of Hythe and Sandgate.
We would recommend the historic river trip in Canterbury, where you are regaled with the history of the city whilst drifting along on the river that winds through its centre - a great combo if you are looking for a lazy afternoon. For the beach, Whitstable is just 14 miles north, great for fresh fish and oysters There are lots of places to explore on a bicycle with wonderful routes through windy deserted lanes criss- crossing this beautiful countryside.
