The walks are wonderful as in one direction you can stroll along the beach and in the other are the wonderfully atmospheric marshes that surround the town. Further afield, the stunning mediaeval city of Norwich is an hour away, Framlingham and Orford Castles are within 20 minutes and you can take a boat trip down the river or go crabbing at Walbeswick. But of course you could just sit and watch the world go by or lie on the beach and enjoy the ever changing view.
