A 'welcome' fire is prepared for you plus 1 basket of logs and fire lighters. Guests are welcome to help themselves to extra logs however a suggested donation of £10 be made to the woodchoppers honest jar. Kindling can be collected in the gardens or woodland.

Golf enthusiasts have a choice of courses including the famous championship 18-Hole Mannings Heath Golf and Country Club right on your doorstep offering visitors to Roosthole discounted golf packages. Mannings Heath village is 2 miles away and typically offers a friendly, local store and pub.
Roosthole is just 3 miles from the bustling market town of Horsham, offering visitors a unique opportunity to see architectural heritage, rich in history combined with a stunning town centre boasting a superb variety of shops, restaurants and cafes. The Causeway is a beautiful, tranquil, tree-lined street of medieval houses, a historic museum and links Horsham Cricket Club (one of the oldest cricket clubs in the world and which features many Sussex County matches) through delightful riverside walks past St Mary's Church to The Carfax, an historic meeting place of four roads and now the heart of the town for open air cafes, a bandstand, events, festivals, music and street markets. Horsham features a fabulous park with leisure centre, swimming pool, tennis courts, BMX and skate park, cinema and is perfect for picnics and relaxing.

Just across the road from Roosthole you have St Leonard's Forest, an extensive Forestry Commission-owned site providing a relaxing countryside retreat for walking, cycling and horseriding. A short drive away, visit the South Downs, especially the legendary Devil's Dyke with stunning views and walks.

English wine has really taken off recently why not visit the award winning Bolney Wine Estate they offer a number of different tours on which you get taken into one of the vineyards, view their state of the art winery and sample a selection of wines. And if you are feeling really indulgent, why not treat yourself to a tour that includes a scrumptious afternoon tea.

West Sussex boasts numerous attractions including National Trust properties, Nymans House and Gardens, Petworth and Parham Houses, historic Arundel, Fishbourne Roman Palace and glorious Goodwood. Bognor Regis, a classic seaside resort with a reputation for having more sunshine hours than anywhere else on the British mainland, is an easy car drive, as is bustling Brighton and Littlehampton with its busy harbour and beaches.
Roosthole holiday rental is superbly placed for visitors arriving by plane (Gatwick Airport just 16 miles) or train (Horsham station links London to the South Coast) and an excellent road network.
