The cellar has been converted to a games room with sofa, smart TV and table football!

A particular feature to mention is the beautiful conservatory leading off the elegant dining room. The perfect place to enjoy a family dinner then relax with a glass of wine or two whilst admiring the views.

Nearby Lewes is steeped in history and is a wonderful town to discover. If you are staying in November, don't miss out on the famous Lewes Bonfire Night! For opera lovers, Glyndebourne is close by, and Plumpton Racecourse is within a couple of miles.

The cosmopolitan city of Brighton is a 20 minute drive with an eclectic mix of numerous independent shops and boutiques, trendy bars and restaurants, not forgetting the famous pier with traditional fun fair rides. For families, both the Bluebell Steam Railway and Drusillas Park are within 30 minutes and offer a really special day out for all.

For keen cyclists, Ditchling Beacon is close by which is a key stage of the London to Brighton cycle ride - why not take the challenge? The Beacon and surrounding South Downs National Park is the perfect area for walkers to stretch their legs and enjoy the stunning panoramic views from the top ridge. The Jolly Sportsman pub is just half a mile from the farmhouse, and the Half Moon Inn 2 miles away.
